However, if parents are in support of this measure, which I find to be a good one, then so be it. I think school districts have a complelling interest in ensuring the safety of all students, not just the ones that aren't engaging in recreational drug use. I thought this only happens when people apply for certain jobs. I think that it's a good idea that NJ school do these drug screenings and I think NYC schools should have them too.
