I actually unknowingly went for "dim sum" last Saturday and to my suprise it was the day that the residents celebrated the Chinese new year in Chinatown. It was rather a spectacular sight. Something I've personally never witnessed before. I was even further amazed by the fact that the persons operating the dragons were young boys of every ethnicity

I enjoyed that info session. Many people are not fully aware of the importance of different cultures and practices in New York. Chinatown is a world of its own.
